Yet again a sensational post, thank you for this. As someone myself that continues to do the work, more recently, of centring those most impacted by our western ways, the supremacy culture patterns and OneWorld belief in saving it are so clear to see. Thank you for allowing us to spot these patterns and offering new ways to try and disrupt them from our different context.

Thanks for the reply insightful thoughts on the way we present our narratives. We may all be doing excellent work but a poorly framed, lopsided, non transformative approach defeats all the purposes. One must add the impact of kyriarchy (broader than patriarchy) on women’s oppression. An intersectional lens is becoming increasingly important in today’s times

Thank you for seeing so clearly through politi-speak. Please continue to peel the candy-coating off the NGO narrative -- continue to critique it and show it as the misguided model that it is. Continue to push for deeper, structural change.
